1927 McCormick-Deering Model 10-20
Manufactured by the International Harvester Co., Chicago, Illinois. The 10-20 was produced from 1923 to 1939, during which time
215,000 units were built. The name refers to its ten drawbar horsepower and twenty
belt horsepower. It features an International four-cylinder engine with a 4 1/4" x 5"
bore and stroke, which carried a rated speed of 1000 rpm. It uses only two main bearings
as the company thought that the heavy crankshaft would eliminate the need for a middle
main bearing. With steel wheels, this model weighed a little over 5000 pounds. Owned
