Manufactured by the Caterpillar Tractor Company, San Leandro, Ca. and Peoria, Illinois. Tractor serial number 4832A. It features a Caterpillar four-cylinder engine with a rated speed of 650 rpm. It develops a maximum of 72 1/2 brake horsepower and weighs 20,000 pounds. It is nearly identical to the Best 60 that came before it. Owned by the Museum. Pictured here is Paul Smith, who operated the tractor on the set of the movie Mulholland Falls.
