Caterpillar Sixty Diesel.
Manufactured by the Caterpillar Tractor Company, San Leandro, Ca. and Peoria, Illinois.
This is one of two Cat 60 currently known, by the owner, to exist with this rare diesel engine conversion. It uses a Cat 50 Diesel engine from the mid 1930s. The conversion was sold by Caterpillar to create a more econmical tractor. This particular 60 was built for agricultural purposes. Another interesting feature of this tractor is that the driver's seat is on the right hand side, rather than the left. This tractor is owned by Dan Jaques.
