Cletrac Model "K," 15-25.
Manufactured by the Cleveland Tractor Company, Cleveland, Ohio.
Serial numbers 11691 (left) and 9112 (right).
The Model K was tested by the University of Nebraska in 1926 under two separate tests using both
kerosene and gasoline for fuel. The K used a Cletrac built, four cylinder engine with a 4" x 5 1/2" bore
and stroke that was capable of producing 30.15 brake and 24 1/2 drawbar horsepower using gasoline. This model
is unusual in that it uses a steering wheel to activate the turning brakes for the individual tracks (Most other companies used
two levers which were pulled back to activate the steering clutches).
Owned by the Museum.
