Pre-1952 Hough Payloader
Manufactured by the Frank G. Hough Co. It uses a Hercules motor and live hydraulics.
The tractor has two forward and two reverse speeds. The Hough Company was a pioneer of
the front-end loader. Around the early 1950s, the Hough Co. was bought out by International Harvester Co.
International continued to produce a model that was very similar to this Hough model (the Museum even
has one). This particular Hough was originally used at the Long Beach Docks.
It was later used on a ranch in Ramona before being brought out to the Museum.
