1944 International Harvester I-9.
Serial number ICB9617. The I-9 was part of International's industrial line of tractors that included an I-4, I-6, ID-6, I-9, and an ID-9. These tractors differed little from the agricultural models. The "9" series uses an International C-335 engine with a 4.4" x 5.5" bore and stroke, which produces 52 horsepower. The major difference between the industrial and the standard versions was the use of heavy cast rear wheels on the industrial version. Industrial tractors were also commonly used in commercial and construction applications. The "9" series was available with either a gas or diesel engine (ID-9) or as a crawler tractor (T-9 or TD-9). Production of the "9" series ran from 1943 to 1953. Owned by the Museum.
