1949 John Deere M.
Manufactured by the John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works, Dubuque, Wisconsin.
The Model "M" was produced between 1947 to 1952. It was an unusual tractor for John Deere in that it featured a vertical two-cylinder, as where
most of the other John Deere tractors of this era used an horizontal engine. The M engine used a 4 inch bore and stroke, which was
capable of producing 19 1/2 belt and 14.65 drawbar horsepower. This tractor is also equipped with a John Deere plow.
Owned by Jack Lester.
