The Lindeman Co. of Yakima, Washington converted this John Deere.
From 1937 to 1947, John Deere contracted with the Lindeman Company for the conversion of
the Model BO from wheels to tracks specifically for use on the West Coast. Production of
these tractors was limited, making these a rare and collectable tractor today. The Model B
featured a John Deere two-cylinder engine with a 4 11/16" x 5 1/2" bore and stroke that produced
24 1/2 hp at 1,250 rpm. In 1946, John Deere purchased the Lindeman Company. That same
year, the JD Model MC was introduced as a replacement to the Lindeman. Serial number
