Manufactured by Root and Vandervoort Engineering Co., East Moline, Illinois. This company was incorporated on June 7, 1900. Early on, they sold some of their engines through a Deere and Company subsidiary, Deere and Webber Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota. This helped the company establish themselves. This engine is quite rare. Owned and restored by the Denny's.
