1934 Silver King
Manufactured by the Fate-Root-Heath Co., Plymouth, Ohio. Serial number 246. This particular
tractor was used on a farm in New Jersey. It was bought by the current owner at an auction in Nebraska in
1995. On the West Coast, these are a very rare tractor, although they are more common in the
Mid West. Because they have a top highway speed of 25 mph they were a popular harvesting tractor, even
in California, because they could rapidly haul a loaded wagon from the field. These tractors were sold
under the Plymouth name until 1934, when they switched it to Silver King because the Chrysler Corp.
bought the Plymouth Auto Car Company.
Owned by Jack Lester.
