A rare G.M.C. 702 C.I.D., V-12, gasoline engine, which develops 250 horsepower
@ 2300 R.P.M., powers this truck. It features a one-piece engine block, crankshaft, and
camshaft. It also has four heads, four exhaust manifolds, and twin intake manifolds and
carburetors, which were carried over from the V-6, 351 C.I.D. engine. This was the last
year of production for this engine. Further features include a Fuller ten speed
transmission and an air operated wedge style braking system. The truck has a 45,000-pound G.V.W.
The Texaco Company was the original owner of this truck, which they used to
haul fuel across the country.
